Getting to Know You Day 2015!

Thursday, June 4, 2015 is our transition day for  students entering McGee for the 2015-2016 school year as 6th graders.  Research shows that a key indicator of a successful middle school experience is a positive transition from elementary school.  Students have a greater peace of mind by taking some of the stress out of the summer before middle school and providing the groundwork for a successful beginning of the middle school adventure!

Getting to Know You Day is comprised of team-building activities and a tour of the building.  Students have an opportunity to talk with middle school students about their experiences and advice to make their years at McGee successful.  Students from all three elementary school come together for this fun day.  We also invite students that will be transferring to McGee, as well!
